SAYING SAYONARA

The past few weeks have been busy with wrapping up ministry and saying "sayonara" (Japanese for "goodbye.") The farewells started last month when a Chi Alpha team from Sam Houston State University came for 2 weeks of ministry at various churches and university campuses in Tokyo. This team was the most relational one our staff has ever hosted. Everywhere they went, even on the trains, they found ways to communicate the love of God. Also, they were great in passing out Book of Hope and flyers and inviting students to our May Festival outreach at the University of Tokyo.

Along with hosting the team, preaching, witnessing, singing, and directing gospel choirs, I cleaned, packed, and attended farewell parties.

The Lord provided a place to live before I returned to Alabama and it's near my family. This is the first time that I have my own place in my hometown area. I am now situated in my new place, and I thank God for it.

After spending time with family and at School of Missions, I will begin a year of itineration. If you would like me to minister in your church, small group, or any other setting, please contact me. I will be available July 2007 - June 2008.

Thank you for all of your generous giving and your faithful prayers. I look forward to seeing you in the next year. May God bless you richly!
